An adventure that was born out of a glimpse we got a while back about just how good coffee really can be. We love coffee. It goes without saying. It's one of the reasons we look forward to each new day. It draws us out of bed, excited to make progress, in whatever corner of our lives we decide to visit that day.
Coffee brings us energy and inspiration. We gather with friends, family, and colleagues while enjoying coffee and share our stories, thoughts, and experiences. Hopefully it bring us to the table to socialize, to converse, to express points of view and open minds - something that seems to be getting lost lately in this ever-increasing digital world.

Wisecrack Roasting Company is a local Micro Roaster in Ringwood, NJ. We roast Specialty Coffee. You can check out what that means here. We believe in the power of local business. Through our wealth of experiences we have come to believe that Local is Community, and that community is one of the most important things human beings have. Unfortunately, it's also one of the many important things that seems to be disappearing slowly.
Travel anywhere and you will immediately see the effect that strong community, local business, and a sense of pride can have on a place. We hope to become an example of what local business can do to impact community in our little corner of the planet, the beautiful Highlands Region of New Jersey.
We would like to take a moment to introduce you to our mascot. Meet Penny! She's super friendly, very wise, and has many personalities. Not unlike coffee... She likes good conversation, a good belly rub, and a strong community too. She usually can be found supervising the first Chemex, or French Press of the day. That is if she's not busy chasing small creatures around, or talking to her bird friends.
